Sessions/Tracks

Session 1Neonatal care
Neonatal care is that the sort of care a baby born premature or sick receives during a neonatal unit. Units are a part of hospitals which provide care for babies who are born prematurely with a medical condition which needs treatment, or at a low birth weight. Many ENC interventions are simple and may be provided by a talented Birth Attendant or a trained Community Health Worker or Traditional Birth Attendant or by a loved one supporting the mother during a clinic or reception.

It provides nutritional requirements for optimal growth and maturation of the infant as many nutritional problems faced by low birth-weight and premature infants. In very low birth weight premature infants, thanks to the immaturity of the gastrointestinal systems, enteral feeding can't be established within the first few days of life.

These defects can cause less blood to flow to the lungs some of the heart defects in which a child may appear well in the first day or two after birth, only to become ill when the blood vessel closes. The common thread in these lesions is that the ductus provides a big amount of blood to either the body or the lungs. Early recognition and management are essential to save lots of life and stop any comorbidity. The presentation of cardiac emergencies and etiologies is variable counting on the age of kid at the time of presentation and sort of cardiac lesion.

Session 7: Neonatal Cancer
It is a kind of rare cancer that comprises a heterogeneous group of neoplasms with substantial histological diversity. New-born cancer is a rare event. The appearance and behaviour of neonatal tumours often differ from those of older children, resulting in differences in diagnosis and management. Neonatal causes of cancer aren't clear, but genetic factors are likely to play a key role. Congenital anomalies are usually present.   Teratoma and neuroblastoma are the foremost common histological sorts of neonatal cancer.

Session 8: Nutrigenomics
Nutrigenomics is that the study of the consequences of food and food constituents on organic phenomenon, and the way genetic variations affect the nutritional environment. It focuses on understanding the interaction between nutrients and other dietary bio-actives with the genome at the molecular level, to understand how specific nutrients or dietary regimes may affect human health.

Immunology
It is the study of immune system which protects the baby from chronic infections. Like many other systems within the body, the system isn't fully functional at birth and thus we are at an increased risk of infection. At an equivalent time, the act of being born – moving from the sterile environment of the womb to the broader world, exposes us to an entire range of pathogens that we've never encountered and haven't any protection against. To supplement this era of immune immaturity and reduce the danger of infection, the mother transfers passive protection to the kid , mainly within the sort of antibody.

Market Analysis

Market analysis
Global deaths of new born babies remain alarmingly high, particularly among the world’s poorest countries. Babies born in Japan, Iceland and Singapore have the best chance at survival, while new borns in Pakistan, the Central African Republic and Afghanistan face the worst odds. Globally, in low-income countries, the average new born mortality rate is 27 deaths per 1,000 births, the report says. In high-income countries, that rate is 3 deaths per 1,000. New born from the riskiest places to give birth are up to 50 times more likely to die than those from the safest places.
8 of the 10 most dangerous places to be born are in sub-Saharan Africa, where pregnant women are much less likely to receive assistance during delivery due to poverty, conflict and weak institutions. If every country brought its new-born mortality rate down to the high-income average by 2030, 16 million lives could be saved. Switzerland has an infant mortality rate of about 3.6 out of 1,000. The general life expectancy in 2013 was 80.5 years for men and 84.8 years for women, with an 82.6 year average. These are among the world's best figures.
One of the greatest countries North America when took after by Europe in 2015. Likewise, the worldwide market for pediatric cardiology in 2015 is to a great extent commanded by the U.S. because of the expanding cases of heart infections among the kids. Europe is ready to display most elevated development rate amid the conjecture time frame because of the high interests in pediatric products and services by European people. So, Europe is considered as the second largest market of pediatric health care products and services.  The market’s significant rise through 2019 can be attributed to the industry becoming more familiar with designing and implementing trials in the pediatric population. Asia-Pacific, is considered as the future market for pediatric health care products and services because of rising awareness on pediatric health care and child health among the people.
